The Ellis County SPCA is easy to find; the shelter is a little southeast of the Waxahachie Wal-Mart and about two minutes north of U.S. Highway 287 Bypass in Waxahachie.
From Waxahachie or the western portion of Ellis County, take U.S. Highway 287 Bypass South to the FM 878 exit. Then take a left onto FM 878, also known as Wyatt Street, for drive about 2 miles. The shelter will be on the right at 2570 FM 878.
From Ennis or the eastern portion of Ellis County, take U.S. Highway 287 Bypass North toward Waxahachie; merge onto the ramp for Palmer and Boyce Rd toward FM 878. Take a left onto FM 878, also known as Wyatt Street, and drive for about 2 miles. The shelter will be on the right at 2570 FM 878.
