Special Thanks

Our work would not be possible without the support and generosity of good people.

Our Board of Directors

We extend a special thank you to the members of our board of directors.

Our Volunteers

The work of the Ellis County SPCA would not be possible without our volunteers.

When you see a booth at a local festival, stop by the shelter to adopt a new family member or attend a Chip, Clip and Dip, you're being served by a loyal volunteer.

Thanks to all our volunteers -- the ECSPCA would be lost without you.

Waxahachie Newspapers, Inc.

Waxahachie Newspapers, Inc. has played a major role in the development and continuing success of the Ellis County SPCA.

For the paper's extensive sponsorship of ECSPCA events and activities and for giving our organization a weekly voice to the community in the Sunday edition, we are greatly appreciative.

And we would be remiss if we did not personally thank Managing Editor Joann Livingston for her tenacious effort to bring about a more humane environment for dogs and cats in the county.

Visit The Waxahachie Daily Light and let the management know just how much you appreciate their work.

Bow Wow Barbers

Every dog and cat available for adoption at the ECSPCA shelter is a handsome one: all the cats with their pretty fur and pointy ears and the dogs with their wagging tails and shiney coats and all.

But there's something even more special about a well groomed, sweet smelling pet that makes him or her irresistible to adopt. That's the work of Shirley Bailey, owner of Bow Wow Barbers of Waxahachie.

We thank Shirley and her employees for their volunteer work. Look her up the next time you take your companion animal in for a bit of grooming and let her know how much you appreciate her work for us.

Pet Care Tip: Vaccinate

See your vet to make sure your companion animal is up to date on all vaccinations. You'll not only protect your pet; you'll also be protecting your family.
