Butter Bean has a new home!

Butter Bean has a new home!

After more than a month as our featured pet, Butter Bean has finally found a home. He was adopted at the end of March by a kind person whose heart was stolen by the huge dog. We’re not surprised that he was adopted, but we must confess that we started having doubts that he’d ever find the right person who could handle him.

We’re glad that Butter Bean is now a happy dog with a new friend.

Way to go, Butter Bean!

Every Thursday you can eat at Dickey’s BBQ in Waxahachie and the EC SPCA will benefit. Simply drop your receipt in the basket at the end of the counter and the EC SPCA will receive 10% of your sale! Can you believe it is that easy?

We are excited and very thankful to Dickeys and hope you will take part in this opportunity to raise money for your favorite non-for profit organization. Please tell your family and friends to take a break from cooking on Thursdays and enjoy a wonderful meal at Dickey’s.

The Ellis County SPCA will be having a Spring Garage Sale on May 9th at the Red Oak Lions Club.  We need items to sell to help us in raise money for the shelter.

Donations will be accepted at the shelter on April 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th,  from 9a-3p.  If you cannot make one of these times please contact Kari Fulce to coordinate your drop off.  Her email is kfulce@themullencompany.com and cell phone number is 214-789-4636.
